A 4×4 driving an approved coastal route in Aruba

Where You Can Drive in Aruba

Aruba rewards drivers who know the boundaries. Here are the routes we open to every ROAM rental — and the places we deliberately leave alone.

Where you can drive

Four routes, one island.

North coast rugged loop

Wind-carved coastline, natural bridges and long open stretches with nothing but sea on one side.

Arikok approaches

The dramatic edges of Aruba's national park, driven on the tracks that are open to vehicles.

Natural pool overlook

The classic view point above Conchi, reached on the trail our team drives and inspects.

Rocky interior traverse

Cactus, boulder fields and the quiet middle of the island most visitors never see.

Where you can't

Capability is not permission.

Our machines can climb almost anything on this island. That doesn't mean they should. Aruba's dunes, nesting grounds and cliff edges are fragile, and a single set of tracks can undo years of recovery. Every ROAM driver agrees to these limits before the keys change hands.

  • No dunes or sand-dune climbing
  • No turtle or bird nesting areas
  • No cliff-edge driving
  • No off-route exploration or trail cutting
  • No protected conservation zones inside Arikok that are closed to vehicles
  • No private land or residential shortcuts
